On Saturday, December 19th we had a snow storm that dropped over two feet of powdery snow. This was a record for the highest amount of snow in the Washington D.C. area in December. The kids love to play in it, and even helped Matt shovel the driveway. We enjoy our family snow days where we cancel all plans and stay home and play together.
Kirsten was excited when they cancelled school on Monday, but was not as excited when they cancelled three days and school and added them on in June. Now summer break will not begin until June 21st!
